Medical Associates of Vicksburg is a Primary Care Practice for adults age 16 and older. We provide comprehensive health services including management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol; as well as the diagnosis and treatment of acute illness, complete wellness services (physical exams, sports physicals, immunizations, cancer screenings and lifestyle modifications). Our physicians are Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Doctors of Internal Medicine, or Internists, have completed three years of residency training after medical school. Internists are dedicated to life-long learning to prevent, diagnose and treat diseases in adults. Medical Associates of Vicksburg also offers Board Certified Physician Assistants (PAs) and Certified Nurse Practitioners (NPs) as part of our comprehensive healthcare team. Like our physicians, our mid-level providers are licensed by the state to see patients and prescribe medications.

Our Team

Our office is conveniently located at 2080 South Frontage Road, behind the Mutual Credit Union. We offer complete, in-house lab and radiology services, including X-ray, CT, bone density and ultrasound, allowing us to receive urgent lab and Xray results quickly. Additionally, we offer a comfortable, in-office infusion suite when IV antibiotics are needed but hospitalization is not necessary. Our office infusion center is directed by a board certified internal medicine and infectious disease physician.

Finally we would like to emphasize we are an independent medical practice owned and operated by our physicians. We are big enough to serve all your medical needs, but small enough to be your medical home. At Medical Associates of Vicksburg, we are pleased to collaborate with all of the large health networks operating in our region (Merit Health River Region and CMMC, UMMC, St. Dominics, Baptist, Promise Specialty Hospital, Select Specialty Hospital, and River Oaks Hospital) as well as the independent specialists available in our region. However, our providers are not constrained by any affiliations with hospitals or physician groups, so we can independently make the healthcare decisions that are best for you are your family.
